This recently built chalet provides ample space for all guests to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay with a four-person sauna in the basement. Take advantage of the many outdoor recreational opportunities, including hiking, mountain biking (~30 miles of single track in Rochester), world class downhill skiing at Killington and Sugarbush, and backcountry skiing at Brandon Gap.
The space
This Robert Carl Williams designed chalet, tucked into the mountainside of the Great Hawk development, provides a variety of indoor and outdoor living spaces for gathering with friends or family.
Enjoy home-cooked meals using the fully stocked kitchen, and settle in at the dining room table and kitchen island with your entire party for a leisurely dinner.
Everyone will enjoy a good night’s sleep with 5 bedrooms across 3 levels. The top floor includes 2 bedrooms with king beds each with ensuite bathrooms. The main floor provides another bathroom with laundry, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room with 2 sets of bunks. There is a wood burning fireplace in the center of the open concept kitchen and living room with two sets of sliding doors leading to a deck spanning the entire front of the house.
The lower level includes a 2nd living room serves as a second place where guests can spread out, with more games, and a large TV. This level also includes a bedroom, wetbar with sink and beverage fridge, full bathroom with tub, and a 4 person sauna.
With multiple decks, there’s a spot for everyone with a different perspective to take in.
IMPORTANT: The driveway and roads up to the house are quite steep. All-wheel or 4WD is highly recommended during the winter months. There is no cell service from the town of Rochester to the house.
